For years I have been looking for a way to deal with if not beat my Oclophobia. Today I have found it. Right now I am not sure if its a good thing though.
All day I have known that at some point I would have to brave the supermarket. Having the ' Destructor` here and knowing I have to feed him, nothing in that is suitable for a three year old tyrant so shopping was neccasary.
It is Thursday one of the main pension days,I waited and put it off as long as possible but,he has been getting that 'look` you know the ' feed me seymour` look. So with much trepidition I got him ready and off I went to the dreaded place.
Easy as pie ( well easier than most days) I was so busy trying to prevent him from destroying the supermarket that for the most part I hardly noticed other people. a couple of hairy moments when aisles started to fill up,but then he would grab something he had been told not to touch and attention back on him. Finally giving in trying to browse between little touchy hands and the supermarket starting to get a little fuller than I could cope with I grabbed something suitable attatched the wrist lead to the walking wrecking ball and got to the checkout and out into fresh air.
He is sat watching Cbeebies now as if butter wouldn`t melt.
Though I think borrowiing him on a regular basis so I can shop may be worse than the trying to go it alone
