Sunday morning 6am I am out with Miss Molly in the pouring rain and freezing wind, Molly is of course not amused and so it was a quick walk.
Sunday morning 10am I am once again out in the pouring rain, going into town I decided to go by the river, nuts, well maybe but there is something about the sound of the river that is soothing, even though it is swollen with the rains. Plus this part of the river used to be a scenic spot for people to come to with seats and stuff, a stones throw from the General post office where I had some letters to post.
This is after all Yorkshire and it doesn't just rain it pours from a steely grey sky that is set from morning til night. We do however get the odd blue sky day, and winter blue here is amongst one of the most beautiful shades of blue there is.
I spent the rest of the day indoors refusing to move out in to the cold as by the time I had got back from town I resembled a drowned rat, my coat was so wet it had gone through to my clothes. One of the nice things though is coming back to a warm house and having that lovely hot steaming cup of coffee.
When I took Miss Molly out again at 10pm, my coat was still wet and so were my gloves, yuk!! And that was my Sunday, more or less.
Today is Monday and back to the daily grind, oh what joy!
Those that haven't already seen it, look at the Secret Santa post below and get your names down!
Have a great day and I will catch you later
