Three days of nufink

by lyndlj @ 2008-07-21 - 08:11:06

Monday morning and back to work, here is how things have been since Friday.

Friday was planned to perfection, I started work an hour early so I could finish an hour early, son would take wife to restaurant I would babysit and watch film I had just acquired, lunch time the plans remained the same. I arrived home expecting everyone to be ready to be greeted with, we have changed our minds? 8|

This is typical of my Son (I dont know where he gets it from! ) Instead they or rather he, made a meal for the family instead. I have to say that I have a budding chef on my hands, he made Salmon in lemon butter (which he also made himself)served with New potatoes Asparagus and green beans, followed by gataue and cream. The Salmon was perfect, and I am very fussy about salmon, we had champagne, and coffee, lovely :)

Saturday started quite badly when I discovered that my last bit of money had been taken by BT, who were not supposed to take it unitl the first of the month, August that is, added to the fact that we had just been through yet another cock up of theirs, they sent my bill to the old address then cut me off for not paying it, just the latest in a long line of cock-ups since April!>:-[

The rest of the day wasn't too bad, did some wow'ing and some studying.

Sunday was mostly WOW'ing on Saturday I had boosted someone through a dungeon and on Sunday my son and his wife took it in turns to play booster to our lower characters through some other dungeons, so quite a lot of WOW'ing and some studying and I was cook for the day so inbetween I made tea etc.

So that was it, my weekend, boring wasn't it?

How was your weekend?

Not everyone gets to show so many facets of their character in so short a time :)

Hmm, a gentle cloud of back-to-work depression, a few life uncertainties... and photos, LOTS of photos... :)

Ah I will have that soon as I have a week off coming up, still I will worry about it afterwards.

Life uncertainties, yup, just a few.

You beat me with the last one though :))

Hehehe, lot's of WoWing here!
My prized hunter has lvled up a bit, but spent some time on other chars...
Why is it that horde always seem to go around killing quest givers just when you've completed a quest?!

Well it is because the Alliance do it too, on the server I am on with my main, who is Horde, I gave up questing in certain areas because high level Alliance would constantly gank (keep killing you) which when they get no honour because you are too low to me sems a waste of time.

Luckily not all Alliance are like that and neither are all Horde, I have helped many Alliance when they have got in trouble, even though there have been times when I have helped them and then they have turned round and called their mates and killed me for the favour :( But they have helped me on the odd occasion and have been thanked for it, these are the people that make you realise that the few that like to go round messing it up are outnumbered by the ones that actually want to play the game.

I am Alliance on Emerald Dream, I have never been ganked by a horde yet and I have reached a level 24, but I know that will change when I get higher ;)

*wibbles lip* but don't have to pvp?! only accidentally got my main lumbered with occasional pvp when I tried out the battleground... It only turns on when a NPC PVP attacks me...

No you dont, but I like it ;)

I got through most of my first fifty levels wih my main by questing, mostly on my own but at times with my son and his wife. It was fun and I enjoyed it.

With my Hunter I have done right up to 38 on my own, now my son and his wife have a character each at the same level and we have formed a group, takes longer to level but it is huge fun :)

I have only just started doing battlegrounds with my Main, along with my son and his wife who have been doing them a while (they have 2 level 70's) I love the game :)

I went to a show over the Pennines in Cheadle Hume south of Manchester. An amateur production of 'Kiss me Kate'. I had a vested interest as I was asked again to do the portrait photos for the programme and the dress rehearsal pics that were displayed in the theatre foyer. I was actually quite pleasantly surprised at the results. I'd decided to use film instead of digital (quicker to get film developed than upload and print off 70 plus shots). And anyway, film is superior to digital for depth and contrast.

The show was wonderful, the dance routines as good as anything you'll ever see anywhere. The singing showed that just because these people are amateurs, it doesn't mean that they don't have immense talent, I'm sure we'll see a few of them in the not too distant future in professional productions somewhere.

Sunday very lazy day. Headache for most of it, I think I have an ear infection, feeling a bit light headed and unballanced, and I wish it really was the drink! :-)

Then get it seen to, I got laid low for six weeks with one last year, not good

The show sounded as though it was worth seeing and shooting :)
